Tessa Meszaros, LSW
Hi, lovely humans! Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, exhale a bit, and feel genuinely understood without pressure to have everything figured out. I offer a calm, supportive environment for adults and couples navigating addiction, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship challenges. I value bringing in moments of lightness and humor where it fits. Even in heavy seasons, there is still room for connection and joy.
My approach is integrative and tailored to the unique story you carry. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches, while also incorporating trauma-informed, strengths-based, and attachment-focused care.
I aim to keep things both meaningful and practical—balancing insight with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life. Sessions with me are collaborative, grounded in emotional safety, and paced in a way that feels sustainable for you.
I received my master’s degree in social work from Indiana University South Bend, with a focus on mental health and addictions. In the first part of my career, I had the privilege of serving individuals in a local inpatient setting, where I learned what it really means to walk alongside someone in seasons that can feel overwhelming, messy, and sometimes impossible to face alone. That work has deeply shaped how I show up, not just as a therapist, but as a person.
You don’t need to have the “right” words or a perfect starting point—just a willingness to show up as you are.
